The only child in family


Positive: the only one child in family is the world leader. They focus on their tasks; they usually are organized people, really careful and can be relied on. They focus on fact, idea, and detail and they are really comfortable with responsibility.


Negative: the character that is hard to be dealt with. They are difficult to forgive, they are also very demanding, they don’t like to admit if they are wrong and they are not easy to be criticized. They are so sensitive and their feeling easily hurts.


The first child


Positive: the natural leader and they work hard. Generally they will become politician, spoke person, and the company leader. They feel having right and it makes them superior. It is groped into 2 types: the obedient leader and the aggressive leader. Both of them hold control, only the method that is different. The first child is people who are selective, detailed, on time, organized, and competent. They want to see things done right the first time. They don’t like surprises.


Weakness: they are moody and not sensitive. They can be so intimidating mainly forcing people too hard, or refusing NO answer. It seems that they know everything and sometimes weak in delegating task because they are difficult to believe others like they are difficult to believe in themselves. They are also bossy and perfectionist.


The middle child


Positive: they are so flexible, they like to please others, and they hate confrontation. Their basic need is making their life run well and their motto is peace at any price. They are calm and friendly, they are also down to earth and good listener. They can see problem from two sides and want to please all people. That makes them good mediators and negotiators.


Negative: they are not too ambitious but they want everybody likes them. They are hard to decide the limit. It seems that they are dependent. They are not capable in deciding something because they are afraid of hurting someone’s feeling. They blame themselves when they are failed.


The last child


Positive: Last-borns are the world’s cheerleaders. They can understand others and like to entertain and chat. They are easy to make friends and they are also open. They are enthusiast if there are people surround them and they are not afraid of taking risk.


Negative: they are easy to get bored. They are hard to concentrate and afraid of being rejected. When the situation is unpleasant, they easily move. It seems that they are self centered. Sometimes they are not realistic in interaction because they always expect pleasure – and of course, such relationships simply do not last.

5 Tips That Make Natural Child Birth A Possibility

Labour and birth are natural processes through which every normal woman goes through in her life. Natural child birth was very attainable and easy during ancient times and women did not need any special skills or training for a natural vaginal delivery.


The ecstasy, the joy and the satisfaction that a woman gets through enduring labour pain and the resultant delivery and abundant enjoyment at the sight of her bundle of joy were things that were seen as God given… Times have changed now. Modern women neither have the endurance nor the capability to endure the pain of labour or go through the process of delivery. Most of them resort to C sections or medications that numb their senses and block their pain.


How ignorant are we about the after effects of medications, epidurals and risks associated with C sections! Caesarean sections have many risk factors associated with it. The chances of wound getting infected or internal organs getting injured are more during caesarean sections. Pain control injections like an epidural can cause numbness and pain which could last for several months. A pregnant woman must never be sedentary. The more you restrict movement, the greater difficulties you will have all throughout your pregnancy and during child birth. Exercise and yoga can help a young woman in preparing her mind and body for labour and birth. Yogic poses help in practicing relaxation techniques and in keeping the muscles and bones flexible for labour. Meditation is a good way to relax. Yoga during pregnancy must be done only under supervision. Poses that can exert pressure on the abdomen and back must be avoided during pregnancy. Correct yoga practices can relieve tensions around the cervix, and help the pelvic bone to expand fully.


Doing light exercises that help in flexing your pelvic and abdominal muscles and strengthening your back can be undertaken during pregnancy under proper guidance. These exercises will help in attaining a smooth labour and delivery. Exercises like kegels, calf stretch, squatting, sit ups, pelvic tilts, upper back stretch etc. are good exercises that you can practice during pregnancy to ease your labour.


Breathing techniques are employed for relaxation and pain management during labour. Pregnant women must practice deep breathing techniques several months before the labour process to be able to employ it successfully. Deep breathing can help you to control episodes of morning sickness and relieve stress and tension associated with early pregnancy. So starting them as early as possible is advisable for natural birth.


Sit comfortably and inhale deeply through your nose, allowing your stomach to move outward to the maximum. Hold for as much time as you can and exhale through your mouth. When you exhale, your abdomen must move inside. You can do this several times a day. However, avoid inhaling and exhaling too deep which will result in a feeling of dizziness. During labour this breathing technique will take you a long way in relaxing your pelvic muscles and allowing the baby to float through. It will also help you manage pain.


As you advance in your pregnancy, you can undertake more techniques that will help you sail through the labour and delivery easily. A perineal massage is known to make vaginal birth easier and reduce the need for an episiotomy. It also reduces the incidence of perineal tears during the birth process. A perineal massage involves massaging the delicate skin between the vagina and the anus. This is usually done during the last weeks before you give birth.


A perineal massage helps in increasing the elasticity and suppleness of the perineal area, making it strong enough to withstand the pressure exerted when the baby slips through the vagina. Practicing correct relaxation techniques will allow you to push when necessary and avoid perineal tears.


While you are in labour, how you position yourself has a great role in deciding whether you are going to have an easy or difficult labour. So it is important to educate yourself with the various labour positions you can adopt. Practicing the techniques during the last week of your labour will give you a feel of how you can handle the actual labour with ease.


If you are not on any medicate or on drip, walking or moving around will help in controlling the pain and contractions. Even while you are in bed, you can adopt various positions that are comfortable. During the second stage of labour when you have to push, an upright position or squatting position is the best for your pelvic bone to open. However it is entirely up to you to decide which position is more comfortable for you.


Hydrotherapy is fast becoming a preferred method of labour. Hydrotherapy uses water in ease the pain and relax the muscles and be in control of the situation. For this the pregnant women can use tubs filled with water that is same as the body temperature or cooler. This will keep the temperature of her body and the baby’s temperature and heart beats under control. However this is an option only for healthy pregnant women who do not have any complications that require constant monitoring.


Acupuncture is another technique used for relieving pain during the natural birth process. It uses needles which are inserted in strategic points in the body for relieving pain. Tips For Caring Yourself After Child birth

Post partum period is the healing period for women after delivering the baby and this is the time when they need extra care and precautions so that their body returns back to the original fit and healthy form quickly and comfortably.


During pregnancy and delivery pregnant mothers have to go though physical as well as mental ups and downs sometimes it is hormones and sometimes it is the pregnancy cramps and it is the woman who alone deals with them . During delivery there is excessive blood loss too and the pelvic muscles are also very much strained and tired so they need proper rest and acre to heal up back again.


Child birth if delivers them a bundle of joy then it brings along some physical problems too which they have to counter with great patience and care. That is why we refer them as self care tips because the woman has to take care of her recovery on her own after the birth of the child and not only this she has to take care of the child too.


Generally mothers ignore their health once they have a baby and the main concentration all the time is on the baby, but it is not right. It might happen that some women experience pain after delivery too, they should not ignore this pain and consult their gynaecologist for the pain and should take the prescribed medicine to reduce the pain. When you breast feed your baby it promotes or stimulates uterine contractions thus you might feel some pain in the vaginal area. After the child birth slowly the uterus start gaining its original position and shape and size. After urinating or a bowel movement always remembers to clean and dry the perineum area with warm water first and then pat it dry with either gauze pads or clean and soft towel. You can take a warm water bath by sitting in a tub of warm water for few minutes it will remove all the bacteria from the incision area and prevent any kind of vaginal infection too. Always remember to wipe from front to back and remove the sanitary pads also in the same way. This way you will stop bacteria from entering vagina from rectum. The sanitary napkins should be changed after every 4-6 hours to prevent any kind of leakage or infection. Use good quality sanitary pads.


Keigel exercises are good for strengthening the pelvic muscles and the muscles around vagina. If you start doing keigel exercises just consult your doctor before doing them so that he can suggest the right way and time to do them. These exercises boost the blood circulation in the pelvis area and thus improve the process of healing. Healing process takes longer time in case of caesarean birth so you need to stay in the hospital for longer time than normal delivery women. Doctors suggest you to take a walk after 24 hours and sit up also so that there is no formation of clots and the blood circulation also resumes to normal. Feet and legs movement is suggested more to improve the blood circulation after the anaesthesia.


Before leaving the hospital just take all the instructions from the nurse about taking care of the bandage and how to keep the inc9ision clean and dry. Always remember that if you will follow the instructions properly the healing process will be faster and there will be lesser chances of any type of infection in the incision.


Generally be it normal or caesarean child birth due to excessive pain and tiredness women develop dark circles and black eyes. Sometimes bruises also can be seen on women’s body during child birth in order to ease pain they breathe hold and exert downward push to help baby move down but these bruises get healed up quickly and dark circles go away with proper rest and care. These spots and cuts and bruises can be avoided if women learn the right way of controlling their breath and exerting pressure.


The diet of lactating mothers should be full of enough proteins, vitamins and liquids as they are recuperating from not only internal damage but also external damage and along with that they have to feed their baby too.


Do not get excited and start getting up close to your partner quickly after child birth, talk to your doctor and take precautionary measures for pregnancy and resume sex after the suggested time by the doctor. It takes time for the stitches to heal and the uterus to return back o normal position so just wait till all the organs of your wife return back to original shape and she says that she is ready for the intercourse.


Rest while the baby is resting and sleep when the baby is sleeping, do not try and finish your house hold whores when the baby is asleep. The more you rest the quickly you will recover.
